It has been a LONG week hasn’t it? These waits from Thursday games to Monday night games take forever! I want to see me some Seahawks!!!

Anyway, I was doing a bit of research today and did you know that the Seahawks have the best all time record on Monday Night Football? That seems like a stat I should have known.
Seattle has appeared in 24 Monday Night games and has won 16 of them. Not bad at all.
Here are a couple more cool Seahawks Monday Night Football stats and trivia bits:
- Seattle holds the record for the largest margin of victory by a road team: 42-0 over the Philadelphia Eagles on Dec, 5 2005. This is also the largest shutout win ever on MNF.
- Seattle has the most shutout victories on Monday Night Football with 5 including their last 3 apperances: 42-0 against the Eagles in 2005, 16-0 against the Raiders in 2006, and 24-0 against the Niners in 2007
All Time Monday Night Football Records
Seattle should keep their Monday Night Football winning ways going against the Rams who are starting Tom Brandstater who has never thrown a pass in an NFL game. This game will be an important game for the Seahawks who pretty much need to win the rest of their games to make the playoffs. Seattle needs to come out strong, play strong, and finish strong and not play down to the level of the Rams. Of course I will be happy with any win but I want to see Seattle win by AT LEAST 20 in this game.
